Your Fellow Human

Lara is an aerospace engineer by profession, an explorer and learner at heart, one who truly desires others to know they hold value for who they are no matter where they are in life, and desires to share the freedom and selflessness in pursuing life and prioritizing your self. We chat about what it means to be a listener, the fear of losing someone close, growing up in multiple cultures, and moving to the States as a 13 year old. She shares her desire to continue shifting towards a minimalistic lifestyle and the need to pursue passion beyond her “9-5”. She shares with me how she has learned to find peace in being alone and why she values that time but how it used to scare her and give her anxiety. How she is now at peace with anxiety and why she values speaking up about the struggle of it and the value it can bring others when we are open with our humanness. @larahuapaya
