Your Fellow Human

Fer shares with me what parts of her culture she knows need to change, what scared her recently, why she is working on no longer being a people pleaser, and a moment in her life she faced depression and had to rethink who she wanted to become. We talk about how she values her partner and the space they have given each other to trust and grow. She shares with me about what she passionately wishes we did not have in this world but also how she has learned to not judge those who see the world in that same way. We talk about the difference between what is said and where actions follow through in the world and the implications of that on her future, and how she has learned to impact change without believing it is her job to save the world. Fer is a face filled with joy, a life filled with love, and a fiery spirit full of life. She is one of the most talented people I know in the water but also out of it. She is a dancer, a free diver, a free dive instructor, actress, model, friend, sister, daughter, advocate for the planet, and most importantly someone who loves others well. She is present, full of love and joy, and shows others through her life how to never stop exploring, dreaming, and learning. She lives to know herself and others more deeply for what I believe is to see this world become a better place. I love this lady so much, the laughter, the adventure, and the way she inspires me to push myself and do more. It is an honor to give a space for part of her heart to be heard.  @fer.mo.me
